Road Touring
MOTORRAD ROADTRIPS are premium, fully supported, sports-touring, touring or cruiser, multi-day road rides designed to be enjoyed most by experienced riders looking to make use of their touring motorcycles [Motorrad in German] with a like-minded group of people.
The RoadTrips are usually 1,500 to 2,000KM in length on sealed roads, held over a 4 day weekend as part of an intimate group of 10 to 15 riders plus pillions with a crew of 4-5 including a lead and tail rider.
You will enjoy some great Australian roads, treats, sights and stops along the well planned and managed routes.
The RoadTrip routes are planned to take in a wide variety of riding through rolling plains and farmland, forests as well as some tight mountain and coastal roads.
Enjoy the riding, conversation and take in the fantastic scenery. Discover more about your motorbike, get tips from other riders and learn about other motorcycles, rider wear, products and services.

Everything else and more, is taken care of.
Being fully supported, Motorrad RoadTrips are professionally organised and include safety briefings, guidance, daily maps and route plans.
Travelling in a group using a participant corner marking system, a commercial backup vehicle follows with a BMW Motorrad Master Technician on-board as well as emergency fuel and luggage transport.
A professional photographer also comes along to capture the adventure.
As a participant you’ll receive a high-res photo you can choose from the online gallery as well as a RoadTrip Photobook as a keepsake to remember your adventure!
ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED
All accommodation is 3-4 star or better and includes private rooms.
Conveniently located in or close to townships on the route, there will be a choice of venues for meals.
A closing dinner on the final night is included to bring everyone together to recap the trip highlights and discuss the final day.

How do I join a ride?

What's included?
- A "pre-trip" BMW Motorrad mechanical safety check is required and included in the above cost.
- Participants receive a "RoadTrip Kit" containing name tags, luggage tags, daily route maps, GPS files and instructions, safety and emergency information, riding tips and checklist.
- "Care Packs" including water, snacks and sunscreen will be made available along with access to comprehensive First Aid.
- BMW cap, lanyard and momento-photobook (post event) are provided.
- All meals included as well as opening breakfast and closing dinner events.
- Includes all meals (excluding drinks), fuel and single, min 3 Star accommodation.
* Luggage Limits: Any luggage that is to be transported by the support van is limited to one piece of luggage per participant, with a maximum weight of 20kg. Specific routes are subject to change dependant on conditions, road works and other variables. Details, routes and dates subject to change prior to event confirmation. <> Bike hire is not included and can be arranged at additional cost.
